Final decision JWC 2014 for Regatta Site
Dear all.
This years JWC will be sailed on historical for icesailing lake “Kisezers” in Riga Latvia, where numerous USSR championships were held.

International Polish Championship (NOR)
NOR: International Polish Championship 14-16.02
The regatta will be held on lake Kisajno. Launching site Pierkunowo (5 km from Giżycko) near restaurant House of Perkun [Dom Perkun].

Check-in: Friday, 14.02, 0830-1030 in mentioned restaurant.
First race: Friday, 1130, Saturday-Sunday 1030.
We plan to have 12 races.
Registration fee: 130 PLN (~32 EUR).
Ice condition: thickness 30 cm, black ice.
ATTENTION: DO NOT ENTER THE LAWN AT THE SITE.
60 m from lake there is park place. Just use it!

Kisezers Trophy final results
Kisezers Trophy update
Dear all
The regatta will be held as sheduled this saturtday, sunday 08-09.02.2014. Boat park for this weekend regatta is Pāvu str. 14, Riga. There is some snow pies on the Ice but it is good enough to sail and the Weather forcast is that snow should melt down till Junior Worlds. All are invited to come over and participate. It can be a good oportunity to sail the DN Junior and Ice optimist Worlds and Europeans area.
The same accomodation can be used also this weekend, but for usual price, that is also not too high.

Accomodation for 2014. DN Junior and Ice opti Worlds & European championships
If the weather and ice conditions will not change much to bad side, we hope to hold the championship on Lake Ķīšezers, Riga, Latvia. Ice is good, snow 0.5-5 cm on the lake now. We will have a local regatta there this weekend.
So we have arranged a hotel “Mežaparks” with breakfast included for all participants willing to stay close to the lake and we managed to get a good price for it also. Race office also will be located in this hotel. To book the rooms for the good price please e-mail or call the hotel and note them that you are “participant of the Ice sailing event”. No bail is necessary.

Czech Republic DN Championship Results
We managed to have a two regattas during weekend on 1.-2.2.2014 at Lipno lake in Cerna v Posumavi.
Saturday was sailed Czech Championship. Results: 2014 International Czech DN Championship
On Sunday we took part in Austrian Championship.

The venue will be most likely Lipno Lake, Cerna v Posumavi.

having an Insurance-ID does NOT mean that you are registered for WC/EC 2014 !!!
The Insurance-ID just ENABLES you to register !
This is rather easy and the next steps you have to do:

59 iceboaters from 4 Nations sailed for the first time ever on the Stettiner Haff ( a part of the Baltic). We had 8 races in B-fleet and 7 races in A-fleet. Good ice conditions with strong winds on Saturday and light winds on Sunday challenged the sailors to give their best.

In Rieth (a very small village at the end of the world) follow the main street just to the dead end.
Please don’t pass the red-white striped gate with mobile homes. You can park just at the way before.
Sailing area: circle of 2.4 km in all directions, smooth ice, 20cm thickness with max. 2cm snow patches, complete area sailed this afternoon by Jean-Claude Vuthier and Godie and Jan.

According to NOR deadline should be 02.February 2014.
Due to I will go out for our National Championship tomorrow morning, I extend this deadline to Tuesday, 04.February 2014 – I am leaving tomorrow morning and won’t assign insurances that weekend.
PLEASE understand that I check all insurances with the same accuracy !
I will not give any ID just because you are late and you otherwise can’t make a regular entry.
Insurances I receive until Tuesday 04.February 2014, which are wrong or not correct can be sent once again.
I WILL LEAVE PROBABLY THURSDAY (06.02.) BUT LATEST FRIDAY MORNING TO MITROPA TROPHY !
So I will assign latest on Thursday, 06.February 2014 until 09:00 in the morning.
