Dear Young Icesailors,
Because of low entries & uncertain weather, we have decided to cancel the 2025 Junior World & European Championships, but we are super excited to announce the 2026 Junior World & European Championships to be held between January 21-25 !
Since the soft-water sailing season has not started, the event will take place in January instead of February or March as in previous years, giving more juniors a chance to participate before their normal sailing season begins. This will allow more sailors to join and make the championship stronger and more competitive.
To support new or developing ice sailing nations, sailors can borrow a DN or Ice Optimist. Anyone needing a boat should contact the Junior Program Manager: ju*******@*****ra.eu .
The final site will be announced by 18 January 2025 at 12:00 (GMT +2) on the IDNIYRA-Europe website: idniyra.eu

Entries made for the JWC/JEC 2025 will be refunded unless you would like to take part in the 2026 Junior World & European Championships.
Please contact we**********@*****ra.eu for a voucher for the JWC/JEC 2026 or a refund, preferably before December 23, but no later than January 12!
